Mahasen AL-Mughrabi

Mahasen AL-Mughrabi, holds a Media diploma from Pakistan, worked as a journalist, registered in the journalists' union since 1976 and has worked in the journalist field, she is the first woman to receive the post of chief editor of a weekly newspaper in 1992 and the first woman elected in the Jordan Press Union in 1996-1998. Her beginnings was in newspaper “Aldefaa” Newspaper and  “Akhbar Al Osboo’a”, she founded the Arab Women Media Center, She was awarded as the best journalist in the world, presented by the International Center for journalists ICFJ in 2002 in Washington. Finally,  in 2015 in Geneva and in the United Nation headquarters, Mrs. Mahasen  awarded as the most powerful and effective  journalist in the middle east by UNESCO
