A second hand bookstore for the chronically dispossessed
How does a man who has worked dilligently all his life for the publishing business, end up homeless only a few months away from retirement? But, most importantly, how does he manage to stand back up, joined by a couple of his fellow homeless companions, to achieve a truly astounding feat by Greek standards - the creation of a second hand bookstore that can support not only them, but possibly offer a model for solving the myriad problems faced by the local homeless community at large? This film offers some answers to these questions, by examining the story of Leonidas Koursoumis and the bookstore he created a few months ago, in a derelict building by one of the major arterial roads of Athens.
